New Aeronautics Student Orientation The Aeronautics Department is hosting a ' ' for students and their families. Established in the 1940s, the Mt. SAC Aeronautics program is the largest two-year aviation program in California and is nationally recognized as one of the best. Whether you want to become a commercial or helicopter pilot, military aviator or remote pilot operator, air traffic controller or airport manager, our degree program helps students develop top-notch skills needed for successful careers in aeronautics.

Not only do these organizations offer exceptional professional experience, but they also allow our students to apply for scholarships and connect with our industry expert alumni.
Our institutional objective is to provide oriented training programs to help the student develop the quality job skills needed for success in career areas offering long-range opportunities. Our programs are designed to put the student in the job market as quickly as possible consistent with the amount of training needed to gain employment. We provide hands-on, practical (learn-by-doing), training in fields where there is a demand for qualified entry-level employees. Flexible morning, afternoon and evening schedules allow students to finish their training even if employed before graduation. Applicants seeking admission to the School must be high school graduates or in possession of a G.E.D. Qualified applicants who desire to enroll in one of the programs offered must apply in person. The Admissions Department is open from 9AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday, or by appointment.
